The UK Garrison recently commissioned us to build a 1:1 scale Speeder-Bike. You’ll recognise this from Return of the Jedi.
This wasn’t an easy project but we built it none-the-less. We used a 1:8 scale model and a pair of calipers to scale-up to 1:1. The construction used a variety of different methods and materials, including vacuum forming, fibreglassing and 3D printing to create a prop that can be assembled in minutes and taken to shows for people to enjoy.
A customer contacted us a while back to see if it was possible to build a US Army jeep, as seen in ‘Goodmorning Vietnam’. We acquired a Mahindra ….
